I tried to publish this whole thing once, which failed miserably.
Okay, this blog will contain extracts from my journal so it will be posted a few days ahead of when it was actually written, if that makes sense.
Welcome to my mind, the place where nothing seems to make sense.

Well, today, I wrote a poem. [In the journal, the entire poem is written out, but I will just provide you with the link]

I thought it was alright. Let me know what you think? [Comment =D]
I wanted to write something inspirational. I don't really know if I suceeded at that or not, but it was a good challenge to take up.
I went to the cinema with Kathryn [My best friend] today. We saw; 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button' . I thought it was fantastic.
For those of you who don't know, the movie is about a man who was born old and ages backwards. It was brilliant. One of the most moving films I have ever seen. Amazing acting, Amazing storyline, just fantasitic. If you have seen this movie, let me know what you think about it.
[In the journal, there are then a series of quotes from the movie. I don't wantt o spoil the movie, so I'll just write one or two.]
- Life is defined by opportunites, even the ones you miss.
- We're meant to lose the people we love. How else would we know how important they are to us?
So let me know what you think of the movie. I recommend you see it.
Sometimes, when you've got good enough intentions, things can turn bad. Sometimes I'm pretty stubborn, but eventually you have to see someone else's side of things. Different people think differently, they have different feelings towards things. Sometimes you have to take that into consideration before you do something big while trying to help out. It's not worth getting into a big arguement over soemthing that started out small and reasonably innocent.
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, then it's got something to do with my story, drop the dagger. Emily, I apologize for doing what i did, although I don't regret it.
Right now, I'm writing under the boiling hot covers [It's summer] of my bed using a torch as light [A wind-up torch. No batteries needed. Click here It's better for the environment that normal torches] and it's around midnight. If you're wondering why I am doing this, it's because I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking of a question that was stuck in my head. Why do we have nightmares?
Why would our brain give us nightmares that scare us which ultimately scare our brain? Does out brain enjoy being scared? I can understand our brain making us have happy dreams, becuase they make us happy, which makes our brain happy, but I don't understand why our brains make us have nightmares or sad dreams. Does our brain want to be depressed/sad?
If anyone knows the answer to that, please let me know.
That's it for today.

Well all dreams are triggered by something. Something that happened before you went to sleep. Your last thoughts. What you ate. Something you saw. Anything and everything can seep into your subconcious and give you the dreams you have.
Thank you.
